Josias Payne

Josias was born on October 30th, 1705 in Northam, Goochland, Virginia.¹   Josias' father was George Payne and his mother was Mary Woodson.  His paternal grandparents were William Payne and Susannah Merriman; his maternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris. He had three brothers named George, John and Robert.  He died at the age of 78 in March 1784 in Virginia.¹
