Joseph Parker 
Joseph was born in 1896 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Joseph's father was Thomas Henry Parker and his mother was Sarah Emme Shoemaker. His paternal grandparents were Joseph William Parker and Mary F. Bray; his maternal grandparents were George A. Shoemaker and Amanda E. Arnold. He had five brothers and two sisters, named George Gaines, Albert S., John, Clyde Thomas, Oscar Spurgeon, Amanda Elizabeth and Rosa J.. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 38 in 1934.1 -
