Amanda Orrick

Amanda was born in 1857 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Amanda's father was James Madison Orrick and her mother was Catherine Brock.  Her paternal grandfather was Benjamin Orrick. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, Robinson B., John, Henry, William, Madison, Samuel, Sarah, Lydia, Virginia, Emilia, Matilda and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children.
