Elijah NOAKES

Elijah was born on March 4th, 1861 in Boston Mtns, Jackson, Arkansas.¹   Elijah's father was Andrew Jackson NOAKES and his mother was Rachel Erwin. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Amos Valentine, Andrew Jackson, Francis, Ballard, Samuel, Benjamin, Ellen, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Martha and Margaret. He had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named Nathan, Garrett, John, Thomas, William, Elias, George and Mary Ann.  He died at the age of 62 on August 18th, 1923 in Rolla, Phelps, Missouri.  He was buried on August 19th, 1923 in Mt Zion Cem., Vida, Phelps, Missouri.^1 1
