Sampson Murrell

Sampson was born in 1857 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Sampson's father was Pleasant Murrell and his mother was Susan Trent. He had four brothers and a sister, named James Orville, Harvey G., William, Joel and Amanda.  He was the youngest of the six children. He had a half-sister named Alice.
