George Washington Morton

George Washington was born in 1843 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   George Washington's father was Stephen G. Morton and his mother was Mary Morrell.  His paternal grandparents were George Morton and Sarah; his maternal grandfather was Nathan Morrell. He had two brothers and a sister, named Jonathan Morrell, Nathan Dehart and Ellen.  He died at the age of 73 in 1916.¹
