Melissa Morrisett

Melissa was born in 1856 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Melissa's father was Enoch Morrisett and her mother was Lucinda.  Her paternal grandparents were Morrisett and Mary. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James H., John, William, Martha, Dulcena, Elizabeth, Sarah Jane, Minerva and Catherine.  She was the fourth youngest of the ten children.
