Ansell Mitchell

Ansell was born in 1855 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Ansell's father was John Mitchell and his mother was Retta. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Jackson, James A. and Eliza Ann.  He was the second youngest of the five children.
