George Millard

George was born on December 3rd, 1773 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   George's father was Samuel Millard and his mother was Rebecca Henton.  His paternal grandparents were Timothy Millard and Ann Prigg; his maternal grandparents were George Henton and Elizabeth Thompson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Timothy, Samuel, Abiah, Levi, Ann, Elizabeth, Sarah and Rebecca.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 41 on March 1st, 1815 in Marion County, Tennessee.¹
