Ephraim Merritt

Ephraim's father was Richard Merritt and his mother was Sarah Merritt.  His paternal grandparents were William Merritt and Elizabeth Goodson; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Merritt and Mary. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, James, Richard, Amy, Ann, Euridice, Mary, Nancy and Sarah.  He died in 1801 in Halifax County, North Carolina.¹
