Sarah Jane Mercer

Sarah Jane was born in October 1849 in ,Washington, Missouri.¹   Sarah Jane's father was Isaac Mercer and her mother was Susan O. Hill. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Jonas M., Isaac W., Catherine, Mary G., Elizabeth, Susan Zillah, Laura P. and Margaret L..  She was the oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 73 on February 14th, 1923 in ,Washington, Missouri.  She was buried in February 1923 in ,Washington, Missouri.^1 1
