James McCarty

James was born about 1737 in ,Of, Pennsylvania.¹   James' father was Darby McCarty and his mother was Hannah Richardson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Isaac, Enoch, Jonathan, Benjamin, Mary, Lydia, Rachel, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah.  He was the oldest of the eleven children.  He died in February 1788 in ,,N.C..¹
