Emanuel Mayo

Emanuel was born in 1852 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Emanuel's father was Nelson Mayo and his mother was Salvina. His paternal grandparents were Reuben Mayo and Jane. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Reuben, John M., Jesse, Catherine, Nancy A. and Mary A.. He was the youngest of the seven children.
