William May

William was born about 1740 in Anson County, NC.¹   William's father was John May and his mother was Ann Pleasant. He had five brothers and a sister, named James, Pleasant, Benjamin, John, Peter and Judith.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died in 1796 in Anson County, NC.¹
