[Br²derbund WFT Vol. 5, Ed. 1, Tree #0725, Date of Import: Apr 16, 2002]
N.J. Stroud, J.M. Stroud, Joseph Pierce signed Marriage Certificate of Lydia and Bill Maxwell.
Per Kathryn Maxwell Reatherford the Maxwell Family Cemetery is the Highland Cemetery west of Melissa. Another cemetery is near Elm Grove off 75-West near Anna toward Westminster.
I found and made a copy of the 1880 Collin County Texas Census Sheet #15 Line #28 Precinct #3 which lists W.T. Maxwell at the age of 11.
I found and made a copy of the 1900 Collin County Texas Census Sheet #2, District #2, ED #12. This showed him at this time at his half brother, John McFerrin's household with Nancy Jane Maxwell (Grannie) listed as Nannie Maxwell her age shown as 6. His parents however are listed as being born in Mississippi according to the census record.(This is probably due to the fact that John's mother is listed in his household and she was born in Mississippi, the enumerator assumed they had the same mother when in reality they had the same father.) He lived with Nancy Jane Maxwell Hollis Turnbow at the end of his life and died at Burkburnett.
