Hattie Maxwell

Hattie was born in 1875 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Hattie's father was James H. Maxwell and her mother was Starnes. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Maxwell and Harriet Justice. She had two sisters named Willie Mae and Lena. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had five half-sisters named Mary Lee, Lucy Galbraith, Jenny Cornelia, Ada Teresa and Edith Lois.
