George Washington Custis was born in 1832.1 George Washington Custis' father was Robert Edward Lee and his mother was Mary Ann Randolph Custis. His maternal grandparents were George Washington Parke Custis and Mary Lee Fitz Hugh. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Henry Fitz Hugh, Robert Edward, Mary Custis, Ann Carter, Eleanor Agnes and Mildred Childe.
