George Lee

George was born in 1848 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   George's father was Green T. Lee and his mother was Mary.  His paternal grandparents were Edward B. Lee and Sarah Tensley. He had a sister named Catherine.  He was the older of the two children. He had ten half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph, Albert, Stokeley, Harden D., Lee, John W., Albert R., Andrew J., James E., William, Hila A., Amanda E., Eliza Or Louisa Caroline and Lee.
