Thomas Lawson 
Thomas was born about 1779 in ,Pittsylvania, Virginia.1 Thomas' father was William Lawson and his mother was Sarah Hinton. His paternal grandparents were Bartholomew Lawson and Susannah Simkins; his maternal grandparents were William Robert Hinton and Mary Patton. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named William, Isham, Elijah, Stephen, Elisha, Preston, George Washington, Hinton, Wiley, Mary Or Polly and Anna. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died in 1862 in ,Osage, Missouri.1 -
