Matilda Lawson 
Matilda was born about 1811 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Matilda's father was Jacob Lawson and her mother was Polly Or Mary Dodson. Her paternal grandparents were Bartholomew Lawson and Susannah Simkins; her maternal grandfather was Lazarus Dodson. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Bartholomew, Lewis, Lazarus, Reynolds, Russell, Elizabeth, Anna, Nancy and Tennessee. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died on June 26th, 1847 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 -
