Guillaume De was born in 1225 in Cistercian Abbey, Valence, Charente, France.1 Guillaume De's father was Hugh (Hugues) X Lusignan and his mother was Isabella De TAILLEFER. His paternal grandparents were Hugh IX De Lusignan and Mathilde TAILLEFER; his maternal grandparents were Aymer De TAILLEFER and Alix De Courtenay. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Hugh XI De, Guy De, Aymer Ademar De, Geoffrey De, Alice, Agatha Agnes De, Isabella De and Marguerite De. He died before May 18th, 1296.1 General Notes
