John Klepper

John was born in 1832 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   John's father was Jacob Klepper and his mother was Mary Loudermilch.  His maternal grandfather was Loudermilch. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Nathan, Simeon, Benjamin, James, Tivis, Elizabeth, Mary and Jane.  He was the oldest of the nine children.
