James P. King

James P. was born on August 23rd, 1844 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   James P.'s father was Lazarus King and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Lee. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Columbus, Josiah, Thomas N., John, Matilda, Sarah Jane, Joanna, Lucinda and Eliza.  He was the second oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 84 on February 26th, 1929.¹
