William Kennedy 
William was born in 1835 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.1 William's father was Washington Kennedy and his mother was Elizabeth Bedford. His paternal grandfather was John Kennedy; his maternal grandparents were Littleberry Bedford and Mattie Clay. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Littleberry, John B., John, Julia, Mattie B., Mary, Martha Or Patsy and Melissa. He was the second youngest of the nine children.-
