Samuel Jones

Samuel was born in 1843 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Samuel's father was Daniel Jones and his mother was Eliza.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Jones and Harriet Franklin. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James, William, Jane, Malinda, Sheba, Sarah and Nancy.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
