Martha Jones

Martha was born in 1844 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹ Martha's father was John I. Jones and her mother was Mary E. Schwartzwelder. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Jones and Martha Or Patsy Ashurst; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Schwartzwelder and Cynthia McCann. She had a brother and three sisters, named James, Cynthia, Eliza and Rebecca Kennedy. She was the second oldest of the five children.
