James Allen Jones

James Allen was born in 1825 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   James Allen's father was Elijah Jones and his mother was Nancy Harmon.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Jones and Harriet Franklin. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, David H., Elijah, John, Phebe, Jane, Mahala, Nancy, Susannah and Ellen Or Eleander. He had two half-brothers named John and Elijah.
