Joseph Rogers Johnston

Joseph Rogers was born on February 4th, 1808 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Joseph Rogers' father was John C. Johnston and his mother was Mary Rogers.  His maternal grandparents were James Rogers and Elizabeth Brown. He had a brother and three sisters, named James, Frances, Lucy and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 82 on July 24th, 1890.¹
