Mary Jackson

Mary was born about 1849 in Missouri.¹   Mary's father was William T. Smith Jackson and her mother was Susan Horine.  Her paternal grandparents were William P. Jackson and Jinny Sally. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Napoleon Bonaparte, Thomas, Andrew, Elias, Nancy, Eliza, Minerva and Catherine.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.
