John H. Jackson

John H. was born on March 7th, 1880 in Edgar Springs, Phelps, Missouri.¹   John H.'s father was Francis Minet (Frank) Jackson and his mother was Sarah Jane Christian.  His paternal grandparents were William P. Jackson and Jinny Sally; his maternal grandparents were Obed M. Christian and Rachel UNKNOWN. He had a brother and a sister, named James Edward and Amanda E..  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Francis M., William Andrew, George W., Lewis\Louis A., Mary Adill, Lucy Emma, Sarah Josephine and Martha Isabel.  He died at the age of 76 on October 19th, 1956 in Evening Shade, Phelps, Missouri.  He was buried in October 1956 in ,Phelps, Missouri.^1 1
