James Jackson

James was born in March 1888 in Washington Co., Missouri.¹   James' father was Allen Jasper Jackson and his mother was Lucinda Jane Cordel.  His paternal grandparents were William P. Jackson and Mahala Hamilton. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Mary, Ada, Margaret and Rena.  He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John H., Peter, Susan C., Visy S. and Sarah.
