Emma Florence was born on September 18th, 1863 in Ellijay, Gilmer, Georgia.1 Emma Florence's father was Wilborne Reuben JENKINS and her mother was Mary Frances Perry. Her paternal grandparents were David JENKINS and Susan PERKINS; her maternal grandparents were Ransom Bailey Perry and Patience Smith. She had a sister named Eulemma Florentine. She was the younger of the two children. She had four half-brothers named Lee Grant, Oliver Perry, Wilborn Stuart and Francis Smythe. She died at the age of 90 on October 16th, 1953.1 General Notes
