Hunt and Nancy George; her maternal grandparents were J. Abraham Deck and Elizabeth Seneker. She had two brothers and five sisters, named George Bruce, Thomas, Lusianne Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah E., Mary F. and Laura Normella. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John Nicholas, Martin Luther, Alice and Cordelia Jane.-
