Tunis Hood

Tunis was born about 1729 in ,Of, New York.¹ Tunis' father was Jan Hood and his mother was Rachel Van Bunschoten. His paternal grandparents were Jasper Hoed and Cathrina Andries. He had two brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Jacob, John, Cathrina, Rebekka and Garritjen. He died in 1797 in ,Shenandoah, VA.¹
