James Holt

James was born in 1826 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   James' father was James Holt and his mother was Catherine Shipley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, John W., George R., Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary C..  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 67 in 1893.¹
