John Hobgood

John was born about 1725 in Of, Edgecombe, North Carolina.¹ John's father was Thomas Hobgood and his mother was Elizabeth. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hobgood and Sarah. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Lemuel, Micajah, William, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Receah. He died about 1783 in ,Halifax, North Carolina.¹
