William Hilliard

William was born about 1700 in Of, Northampton, NC.¹   William's father was Jeremiah Hilliard and his mother was Elizabeth Pottle.  His paternal grandfather was John Hilliard; his maternal grandfather was Joshua Pottle. He had three brothers named Jeremiah, John and Robert. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Osborne and Elizabeth.
