John Helton

John was born in 1861 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   John's father was James Hilton and his mother was Mary Or Polly. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Aaron, Alan, Moses, Elijah, Sarah Elizabeth and Susan.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
