William Luther Hawk

William Luther was born on August 15th, 1865 in Irwin, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.¹   William Luther's father was William Hawk and his mother was Martha Magdalene Spellman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Franklin, Lyman, Hiram, Charles, Sally Ann, Ida Jane, Anna and Mary M..  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 78 on December 29th, 1943 in Chadron, Dawes, Nebraska.  He was buried on January 2nd, 1944 in Greenwood Cem., Chadron, Dawes, Nebraska.^1 1
