Anne was born about 1484 in Of Wolfayne, Lancs., England.1 Anne's father was James Harrington and her mother was Isabella Radcliffe. Her paternal grandparents were William Harrington and Elizabeth Pilkington; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Radcliffe and Agnes Harrington. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named William, Clemence, Agnes, Elizabeth, Alice, Joanna, Margaret, Alianore, Isabelle and Catherine. She was the third youngest of the eleven children.-
