John C. Harmon

John C. was born about 1860 in Washington Co., Missouri.¹   John C.'s father was Reuben Harmon and his mother was Vernetta Kimberlin.  His paternal grandparents were Jonas Harmon and Catherine Woolford; his maternal grandparents were Renor E. Kimberlin and Francis Peters. He had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph, Julia, Leona C., Mary L., Benjamin F., Christena and Maggie.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.
