William Henderson Harkleroad

William Henderson was born on July 4th, 1851 in ,Sullivan, Tennessee.¹ William Henderson's father was Henry Harkleroad and his mother was Emeline Hicks. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Isaac Harkleroad and Rosannah Riley. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named John Andrew, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Landon C., Daniel Miller, Jacob Henry, Henry I., Oscar N., James Isaac, Cordella, Susan Rebecca, Mary Ann and Sarah. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 61 on March 17th, 1913 in ,Sullivan, Tennessee.¹
