Melvin Greer

Melvin's father was John Wesley Greer and his mother was Matilda Shepherd.  His paternal grandfather was Greer; his maternal grandparents were Gardner Shepherd and Elizabeth Dunn. He had four brothers and two sisters, named David Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Ivins, Thomas W., Caldonia and Elizabeth.
