Ann Godwin

Ann was born in 1729 in ,Nansemond, VA.¹ Ann's father was Samuel Godwin and her mother was Catherine Scott. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Godwin and Martha Bridger. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Richard, Edmond, Samuel, Joseph, Christine, Elizabeth and Martha. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Samuel, Thomas and Mary.
