William G. Godat 
William G. was born on June 16th, 1857 in ,Washington, Missouri.1 William G.'s father was Eugene Godat and his mother was Eva L. Horine. His paternal grandparents were Charles Joseph Godat and Augustine Dore; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Horine and Catherine Shook. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Henry A., Benjamin Charles, Gustavus "Gus", Gladys, Edward, Mary C., Susan Josephine, Julia Malissa, Eva Jane, Rosa and Dora. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 79 on March 1st, 1937 in ,Washington, Missouri. He was buried in May 1937 in Horine Cemetery, Washington, Missouri.1 1 -
