Mary Ann Gilliam 
Mary Ann was born in 1846 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Mary Ann's father was James Gilliam and her mother was Elizabeth. Her paternal grandparents were John Gilliam and Mary. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, John, Wiley, Hiram, Gilliam, Sarah, Josephine and Nancy Jane. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
