Alice Jane Gibson 
Alice Jane was born on November 18th, 1858.1 Alice Jane's father was William Robert Gibson and her mother was Eliabeth P. Cave. Her paternal grandparents were Turner Gibson and Caroline Boone. She had a brother and a sister, named James E. and Mary J.. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 91 in 1949.1 General Notes

During the Civil War, Alice Jane Gibson and her mother were carried
across Nolin River in a boat by Confederate Soldiers. They had to be
"deloused" from lice they had caught in the blankets while crossing the
river.
