Duncan Gardner

Duncan was born in August 1879 in ,,Tennessee.¹ Duncan's father was Henry Gardner and his mother was Sarah A. Ball. His paternal grandparents were James Gardner and Anna Myers; his maternal grandparents were John Ball and Rebecca Kelly. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Wiley, Horace Tillman, Patrick Henry, Jesse Robert, Martha Melissa and Rebecca Maude. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
