John M. Franklin 
John M. was born in 1793 in North Carolina.1 John M.'s father was Jonathan Franklin and his mother was Rachel. His paternal grandparents were John Franklin and Phoebe Parker. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas C., David, Henry, Samuel B., William and Mary. He had eight half-brothers and a half-sister, named Abner, Jacob, James, Jonathan, Joseph, Joshua, Moses, Pleasant and Jane. He died at the age of 64 in 1857 in Illinois.1 -
