James Fort 
James was born on October 18th, 1788 in ,,NC.1 James' father was William Fort and his mother was Elizabeth Hilliard. His paternal grandparents were Elias Fort and Sarah Suggs; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Hilliard and Sarah Battle. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Jeremiah Hilliard, Jacob Hilliard, William Anthony, Josiah W., Sarah Coleman and Mary Smith. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 30 on July 9th, 1819.1 -
